Since the Souk
Our Story
Chapter 1
It Began With Patience
In a narrow lane of the old souk, our grandfather kept clay vessels of agarwood buried in the cool earth beneath his workshop. He believed oud could not be hurried — that resin needed years, not weeks, to surrender its full character. Three generations later, we still believe him.
Chapter 2
Sourced, Not Bought
We do not shop wholesale markets. Our Cambodi and Hindi oud comes from harvesters we have known for decades. Our rose arrives from the Taif highlands in the two weeks each year when the petals carry their deepest oil. When a season is poor, we release less rather than compromise.
Chapter 3
Blended by Hand
Each composition is macerated in small batches and rested for months before bottling. No accelerated aging, no synthetic extenders, no shortcuts. What reaches you is what left the perfumer's bench — only older, and better for it.
